Today began with rain and a 21 mph wind out of the NW.....why is that noteworthy????? We needed to head NW ! By the time we broke camp, put the stinky slinky away, the wind had subsided to a calm.........wait for it.....18 mph. It gets better! By the time we got to Rapid City, with a 8.3 mpg average, it had dropped again......to 12-13. By the time we got to Sturgis, the temp had dropped to 37 and there was a rain/snow mix coming from......wait for it....the NW! But, we persevered and continued on! By the time we were almost out of gas, the temp had dropped and it was definitely snowing......IT'S MAY 18th! Oh well, Travel On! We're snug as a bug in our "rug" here in Billings and the RV park we chose is SUPER! Thanks for listening/watching and "Be Well."
