Windy, windy Badlands

We enjoyed our very windy trip to the Badlands yesterday. We stopped at the Lewis and Clark rest area outside Chamberlain to view the Dignity sculpture and visit the Lewis and Clark exhibition.  Dignity is beautiful, but the Center was closed for cleaning! 😞 So, we ventured west to the Badlands. They’re still here, but if you want to see them, you’d better hurry! It’s estimated they’ll be completely eroded in another 500,000 years! We scouted sites for good sunsets and sunrises, but the weather is not cooperating for that. We hope the front passes and we’ll have a sunrise in the morning!
