We took it easy today. Only drove 222 miles! Yukon Territories has pretty good roads, but they’re not straight! Scenery is typical Canadian scenery. Lots of water, lots of trees and clean air. We saw several “Caribou Crossing” signs, but evidently, the caribou up here don’t know how to read because we didn’t ever see one crossing! We did, however, see a porcupine! Ken took “several” pictures! π
We found a jewel of a campground tonight! Right on the Tagish River! Lots of folk artistry/collectibles! License plates from all over as well as old stoves and boat motors, moose and caribou antlers!
Tomorrow, we will be in Alaska; Skagway, to be exact! π€π€π€
