Touristy Day

Today, we took care of some necessary tasks and did some Anchorage sightseeing! We washed, twice, a very dirty pickup, changed its oil, and shopped for groceries. We also saw some of Anchorage’s typical sights. We thought Denali was “out”; so, we even tried to see her, but she wasn’t! We’ll keep trying with that. Went to the Ulu factory and saw them being made; went to a native cooperative, Oomingmak, where they knitted, blocked and crocheted musk ox wool! Ate a superb lunch at the Glacier Brewery and then we found the Lake Hood seaplane base. Very cool! Saw lots of planes! Some not so sea/air ready!
