Day IN Denali

Ken started the day taking some flower pictures and the we joined our tour bus for the 32 miles into the park. NPS provides (for a fee) these buses to cut down on the number of vehicles entering the park so there’s less of an impact on the flora and fauna. Going that far into Denali, one only hopes to see some, if not all, of the big five. Well, we saw four of them. We saw two grizzly sows with two cubs each (a long ways off); dall sheep (a long ways off) caribou (FINALLY); and moose, twice. No wolves, but we weren’t really expecting to see them anyway! We did see the Polychrome mountains and many other beautiful sites! All in all, it was another beautiful day.
